HAHAHAHAHA NOT UNDER THE ARM!!!!!

Here's Kubba (a.k.a. Duba, Kubba Do, Scooby do, Duba do) and Zoe (shep) in a tickle fight. As you can see, Zoe is going for the famous "under the arm" tickle. Duba is laughing hystericaly. Duba got her back however with the even more famous "i'll stand over you and let a drip of drool almost hit your face before i suck it back into my mouth" move. :)

Me and my Balls

Chena just hangin' out waiting very patiently for someone to throw a ball. She's so funny, She runs around here with a tennis ball hanging out of her mouth like a cigar. Chena has also perfected barking with tennis balls in her mouth.

So Cute!

What can I say. Mikey and little Chloe are best of friends. (get a room guys)

Little dog-o-rama.

Charlie (ruby king C.), and Harleigh (westy) kept the little dog area alive today. The "Antics" of these two brought smiles/wags to the faces/tails of all who came in today. These were just two of the 6 little dogs today that came to play at Canine Antics!

Welcome Beau!

Beau had his first daycare day today and loved every minute of it. He went through the crowd playing with absolutely everyone who was game.
This little guy went from morning to afternoon full tilt! He should sleep like a baby tonight!

Boxer Fun!!!!

Gypsy Rose (left) and Cali (right) played like champions today. These two don't get many chances to be here on the same day, but today they made up for it. If you've never seen two boxers play, it is quit the sight to see. They are so fast and agile. Most of all these two are total class clowns.

Stop looking! I need to use the hydrant.

One of our younger members of the pack.. Maeby, is a Chocolab born last September. She proudly boasts her diploma from Dogs Bay Training and now is working on her doggie social skills here at Canine Antics. What A Sweet Heart!!!!

Even a Weimaraner needs a nap sometimes.

Theo is our 8yr old Weimar. Theo does still have the energy of a pup. Here he is catching a "cat" nap. haha. Sorry Theo, I mean a dog nap.

Curly, Curlyer, Curlyist!

Emma , Bonnie Doon, and Koda are have a constest to see who can curl their tail the most....And it look like Koda the Huskey is the winner!!!!!

Battle for the poof chair #2

Koda tried very hard to steal the chair from Max today. Again. This pic is a little dark, but

as you can see she was jumping from the top of the ramp in back, landing on Max and/or the chair. She did this over and over, I was crackin' up!!

Bear towers over Bob

All of us hangin out on the ramp in the back. From left to right Cheena, Bonnie, Bear, Bob, Buddy, and Kubba with Theo and Bandit on the floor.

Just woke up?

This pic is from early in the morning just before activity time. Even little Mikey (CDT) joined in the big dog lazy time.

Watt Mon?, My name is Bob Marley

Bob Marley (red Labdoodle), Dozer (far right), Max and friends had a blast today. Bob had done daycare as a puppy then went on tour for a couple years (to please his fans) and now is back!!! Yea! Welcome back Bob!

My name is Bob too!

Bob is an 8yr old cocker who acts much like he's still a pup. Bob has socialized with other dogs on a regular basis all his life. He is one of the few dogs that are able to play with little dogs as well as big. It is impossible to keep a straight face while this little guy is around.

Its a day of Bob's

Here's Bob and his "lil Buddy" Buddy. Buddy is a rescue from the Humane Society and now lives at home with his favorite mom. Here's Buddy doing his "Snoopy on the dog house" impression.

I think I could get used to this daycare stuff.

Meikah (ME-KA) is also a new girl here. She's started some daycare to learn a bit about doggie ettiquete. Once she figured out that playing was to be her main objective, she cracked up and ran around the dog yard full tilt!. She's very much a lover as well.

Hi! My name is Domino

Domino is our new boy in daycare. He's a dasher/terrier mix. In person he's about 11lbs and 11inches tall. He looks just like a lab puppy, but he's a year old. I think we have a new breed on our hands.... (mini labradors) :)

Like a day in the park.

Here's the dogs playing outside today. We can tell that all the dogs are loving the warmer weather. They played for quite a while on the slide today. At this moment Malie is "king of the fort". Too cute.

BUSTED!!

Here's gus today with his sad face on after being busted diggin' a hole in the dog yard. He's so funny. I came around the slide and he layed down and started "squinting" hahaha Something tells me he's been busted before.:)

Cute Couple.

Buddy (right)and Maggie (left) enjoy relaxing on the bed. By the looks of it, this isn't the first time they have been on a human bed!!!

Can't ya just move over a little?

Maxwell is sprawling out on his favorite beanbag. I think Koda wouldn't mind a spot on the bag. As max demonstrates this chair just isn't big enough for two dogs. I would hate to think he was "uncomfortable".

My name is Gypsy Rose

Gypsy Rose is one our new girls! This boxer is one of the biggest lovers in the dog yard. One must always be careful around her, for she has no issue with a lick across the lips. :)

WHEW! I need to lye down for a minute.

Bearington (aka. Barry, Bear, Big Bear) the Newfy played with friends for a while today and then dropped like a ton-o-bricks for a quick nap during activity time. Ya gotta love the bear.

Tell me in my ear.

Brick (Min Pin) and Mikey (CDT) played like champions today. These little guys hit it off straight away and hardly ever stopped. I bet they both sleep well tonight.

This guy deserves another pic.

Here's Charlie again running around with my ball throwin' stick. I guess I wasn't doing it to his standards. :)

Look I'm Gene Simmons

Charlie, Charlie, Charlie. This lab has the ability to make the dog from Marley and Me look like Eore from Winnie the Pooh. He is such a good boy however. Here he is after playing hard today. I don't think his tounge could stick out any further.

We have a lot to say.

Theo and Kubba in perfect duet form, were singing their version of "I love my doggie life." All these two needed were bow ties and canes and there broadway musical duet would have been complete. Tickets for there next performance will be available on ticketmaster.com.

Just a little off the sides please.

Lindsey, Canine Antics Groomer, is greeting Angel from Harbor Humane Society. Angels dog Keesha was in need of a spa day today. Keesha is one of 6 lucky furr friends enjoying a spa treatment today at Canine Antics.

My head is so big.

Bonnie Doon was telling a story this morning. It was about how her and her Mom went to the carnival once. She was telling us that this is how big her head looked in the funhouse mirror.

Throw the ball already!

Hahahaha, I tried to take this picture about 5 times before I got this one. They are so patient sometimes. Oh, except for Bandit (far right) he protested the whole time. :) If he could talk I'm sure he was screaming something like "come on already, just throw it!!!!!!!"
Banjo (Brittney) and Bob (Cocker) burning off some morning energy. These two must have ran 50 laps around the building this morning chasing each other.

I'm so glad I have another Shepard to play with.

Lola (black) and Chena (brown and black) are so funny together. Two alike personalities playing without a care in the world.

I think someones Mom just walked in.

Sophie and friends are perfect doorbells. If someone walks in, these dogs know it. We could be in the middle of playing the most fun game ever and "creeeeek" everyones head turns to the front! haha.

Puppies need their beauty rest!

Little Chloe played hard this morning. After a big drink of water she found her bed and curled up. Here she's almost asleep. Even grown men find thereselves saying AAWWWWEEEE over Chloe.

My new friend

Meadow (Golden Ret) seems to have taken Mattie (Golden Doodle pup) under her wing. Meadow has been coming to daycare for quite while now while Mattie is a newer girl. Mattie followed Meadow around most of the morning. Almost as if she was taking notes on proper doggie etiquette. hahaha.

Its a beautiful day in the neighborhood

Buddy, Zoe and friends were happy to play with Lindy and Dixie today. These two Wire Haired Fox Terriers have been no strangers to doggie daycare. Bob and John graduated them from the little dog area to the big dog area today. The energy of these two was enough to make the transition very easy for all!!!!

Love of the outdoors

Another beautiful day at Canine Antics.

All our four legged friends would rather be outside than in.

Monday, March 16, 2009

I think someones too close to our dog yard.

Emma (cattle dog) and Buddy (begal) were our sherriff's possie today. These two patrolled "Dog city" making sure to tell every passer by that they were within the invisible 100yrd boundry they seem to have set. Oh yeah I can't forget "Deputy Dubba" (he's the one in the back, on top of the ramp). They all were very happy to be outside in the sun today asserting their claim on North Holland.

Whats that bright thing in the sky?

Enjoyin' the sunny day today!!!
Pic from left to right. Koda, Sijila, Theo, Kubba, Bonnie Doon, Maggie, and of course Gus.
I think Gus is winking at me.

What should we play today?

Bob (on the poof chair) and our Groomer Lindsey (on the ramp) are getting some fluff lovin' before activity time.

Well, we could play with this "Rope Kong"

Ginsberg is trying to help us decide what activity we should play.:)

Let them play Josie, we'll just cuddle.

Max and Josie are a well known couple here at Canine Antics. They play and cuddle all the time.
SOOOOOOOOO cute.

We could play with these tennis balls?

Ginsbergs number one love is a tennis ball toss. Well maybe holding tennis balls!.

I don't care what we do this place is fun.

Lily loves being at Canine Antics! Can't ya tell by the smile on her face!!!? What a sweetheart Lily is.

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

I'll go around back, you come in from the front

Cosmo and Silija are plotting how they will take the toys from Lily. These three had a ball today!!

AWWWE!

John couldn't stand it. He needed cuddle time with baby Chloe. And NO John you can't take her home with you.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

These guys should sleep well tonight.

Zoe, Josie, Mattie, and Sammy wanted nothing to do with bubbles today. So today we made the middle area , "high action zone" So far today these four haven't even slowed down.

Ya know, some dogs like the ball, some a rope, and some like treats. If a training term were to be put to this it would be.. "Bubble motovation".

Bubble blower

Waaait for it. Waaait for it...
Peli and the others had so much fun popping bubbles today! All of the fur children today seem to like the big bubbles better than little ones. :)

Here comes the biggest bubble I've ever seen!!!

Chloe, Hudson's new sister came to dayschool with him for the first time!! What a what a bunch of cuddley fluff lovin's she is. Here's chloe looking at a bubble that is bigger than her!
