Belle (lab ret) had a blast today. She met many new friends. Today was a day of new friends. We had 5 new dogs today!! I love to see people socialize their dogs.

When we arrive at Canine Antics we are so happy, sometimes we run around all crazy.
Sunshine (lab) is one of my training clients who when I met her had agression issues with other dogs. After some time in my Pack Rehabilitation Program at Dogs Bay she has finally learned the social skills needed to begin daycare at Canine Antics!! A true success story! Good Girl Sunny.
We do our business.
Due to the graphic nature of the said act, Smax will be taking one for the team. Sorry for posting your private moment on the internet little guy. :)
We play with our friends.
Chocolate (a.k.a choc-o-latte) and Tehlulah are two little soul mates. Play is their main objective!
We drink some water.
Mattie (shown)and Lily (not in pic) are our two water champions. If a spray of water ever is in there reach, these two will be on it like white on rice. Oh and you never want to leave the 2 gallon water bowl unattended for too long, cause one of these two are sure to splash it out.... and Gus is always in the middle of whatever action is going on. hahaha
Bob throws us some fly balls.
Malie is so funny when we play tennis ball toss. She commits herself 110% to every single ball that is thrown. She has such a blast here at Canine Antics. At the end of the day, she walks out with this look on her face as if to say "awe come on mom do we have to go already?"

Believe it or not, Gypsy actually bit me at our first training session!!! Right on the butt. haha. She has since then learned she has much more fun being a lover, not a fighter.

Shota (show-ta) is a shiba inu from Chicago, her parents are in town on vacation. (there have been a lot of dogs from the windy city lately) Shota is no stranger to daycare however, she's been going to one in her home town for quite q while now. Very good girl.

TRIVIA!!!!!!!! WHY DOES THE EYE OF AN ANIMAL APPEAR TO GLOW WHEN YOU SHINE A LIGHT IN THEIR FACE???

Dawg Hawk Barometer.
It has recently been discovered that Skippys Dawg Hawk has barometric prediction properties. Depending on the air pressure and relative humidity his Hawk will stand up straight or slump over to the side (kinda like a killer whale who has been in captivity too long). So today was very humid....VVVEERRRYY humid. hahaha

TRIVIA!!!! WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN THE HAIR ON A DOGS BACK (HACKLES) STANDS UP?????
The answer to last weeks trivia question.. (What breed of dog is known for having double due claws??) is the Great Pyrenees and/or the Beauceron.
